The ATransC Big Circle is part of the Association TransCommunication (ATransC). Its purpose is to support members who have loved ones that have made their transition to the other side, and to help them understand the role transcommunication can play in healing and spiritual growth regardless of belief system.

The Big Circle community on both sides of the veil is a growing par of Humankind that understands the survival of personality beyond so-called death and that our loved ones continue to be part of our lives. It is our intention that this website will serve the Big Circle community through research and education.

About the Big Circle

The Big Circle evolved from a small recording group of ATransC members who wished to continue their relationships with transitioned loved ones by exploring the use of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). The growing success of the group made it possible to expand into an international virtual recording group. People from various places in the world record privately, or with a group, for five minutes at 8:00 p.m. (their local time) on alternative Thursdays. We believe that the collective energy has helped our loved ones communicate to us from the other side.

After each recording session, interesting examples from the session are posted in the the ATransC Idea Exchange forum where they are shared with other members. We do this because it is common for a member in another part of the world to pick up the voice of a loved one belonging to another member residing in a different part of the world.

It is not necessary to be an ATransC member to participate in the Big Circle. It is true that the Idea Exchange discussion board is closed to the public to provide a measure of privacy to the participants, but the Big Circle is not just for member and loved ones. While we appreciate your support of the work of the ATransC your membership afforded, you can join-in during the group recording sessions and take advantage of the group energy without being a member.

About the name

The name, “The Big Circle,” was first suggested by Martha Copeland’s daughter during a recording session. Martha's daughter, Cathy, transitioned in December of 2001 and soon became an active communicator form the other side. You can hear some of her messages at ATransC.org. Martha and other members noticed that there seemed to be other voices accompanying their transitioned loved one’s voices on their recordings. It was during one such recording session that Martha was able to question Cathy about being with other people on the other side. Cathy responded to her question saying, “Yes, …The Big Circle”   Since that time, other people residing in different parts of the world have also received, the message, “The Big Circle” during their recording sessions.

The Big Circle is much more than a grief support group, it involves a group of friends and loved ones on the other side that are connecting loved ones together in the physical world.  Many support groups help individuals find other methods to deal with the intense grief accompanying the loss of a loved one. The Big Circle works to offer hope and to bring joy back into the lives of those who are adjusting to the loss of a loved one by teaching that who we really are, our personality, continues beyond physical death. The Big Circle teaches that it is possible to continue our relationship with loved ones across the veil with remembrance and communication through meditation, mediumship and transcommunication.

Recording with the Big Circle

Everything you need to know to participate in the Big Circle recording sessions is here. All you need is an inexpensive recorder and a lot of patience. The recording dates are maintained here.

Supporting this Work

Access to the Idea Exchange is a benefit of Association TransCommunication membership. ATransC is one of the few organizations in the world conducting research into survival of personality and communication across the veil. As a teaching organization, the information developed by the Association is given freely to you on this website, but no one is paid for the work and the website and research is costly. Annual membership dues help pay for this work and supports research.
